Jul 09, 2017·The EF line has been trimmed to the bone. I still have a bit of EF shaving soap and talcum powder. They also had a 50ml bottles (great for travel). Two years ago, I visited a Penhaligon's shop in Edinburgh. Staff told me that the company wanted to promote Bayolea line in favor of EF. Elixir seems to still be available on the official web site.

I was bummed when they discontinued it but then discovered the Kirkland house brand knockoff, and I liked the Kirkland brand even better. From what I googled just now, apparently the Kirkland brand changed suppliers and/or formulas recently, everyone hated it and there was a ton of returns.

In a new rule issued on Friday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration declared that antibacterial soaps can no longer be sold if they contain any of a list of 19 now-forbidden ingredients, including triclosan (used in liquid soaps) and triclocarban (used in bar soaps).

Apr 07, 2019·I received confirmation from KAO customer care, Ben, that the entire Jergens' soap line has indeed been discontinued -- but only in Canada. The bar soap is currently still being made for the US market and is available through Walgreens.com and Amazon.com. Notice the word "currently", so who knows what will happen in the future?
